Originally released as one of rock history’s most famous bootlegs. It was recorded with The Band in the basement of the house "Big Pink" in Woodstock 1967. 8 years later some of the over 100 recorded demos have been released officially on this album.
In 2009 Sony/Legacy released a remastered Digipak version of this album.
