Recording with Mark Knopfler again, Dylan produced his finest album of the 1980s (except for 1989′s "Oh Mercy"). "Jokerman" and "Sweetheart Like You" were released as singles and presented Dylan in his first MTV music videos. But all tracks on this release are great, even the outtakes that can be found on "The Bootleg Series Vol. 3" and the bootleg "Outfidels". Re-released in 2003 on a remastered Hybrid Stereo SACD.
