It’s the 1980s pop production that makes this record worse than it is. If you listen to the original studio versions (e.g. on "The Bootleg Series Vol. 3"), you can feel the real potential of great songs such as "Tight Connection To My Heart" or "When the Night Comes Falling from the Sky". Plus: "Emotionally Yours", "I’ll Remember You" and "Dark Eyes" are great ballads.
